An absolutely wonderful day of riding today. We left Hay early in the morning and rode into Balranald for some Morning tea, after which we did the ride to Mildura for lunch. Gorgeous vineyard country, and it is amazing how fertile the lands become as you head into the Murray River! Finally we headed into Renmark, our stop for the night. Stunning country along the Murray River, and I hope to come back here one day and spend some real time...

Day 2 was awesome riding!!! We left Grenfell about 9am after having a local country breakfast and were on our way to Hay which is approximately 360km of riding in one day with our first stop in West Wylong for a refuel stop, then another 147kms to Goolgowi and finally the 108kms to Hay. When leaving Grenfell, we had a mixed bag of weather, some rain, and even possibly hail. But mostly it was sunshine with spotty clouds. The most stunning...

After leaving Bathurst, we did a lap of Mt Panorama on the bikes which gave us a whole new respect for the drivers that race on this circuit! We then continued on and had a quick pitstop at Cowra (Ok, truth be told I had a bike repair to do), and then the rains had fallen on us. Along with the cold, this was not a pleasant part of the trip!!! But we continued on, and eventually made it to Grenfell. Great little town of about 2,000 friendly...

So far so good!! What a great launch event and great turn out. The ride to  Bathurst has been lots of fun, even though its been freezing cold going over the mountains. Here are some photos of the trip so...

So after a number of days of getting my bike prepped up, I'm ready to go!!! This has been a serious overhaul. New tyres, (front and back), new brake pads, full service, new seat, new headlight, luggage rack and new kick arse alarm (Thanks to Kenma Motorcycles)! And on top that, I have finally bought some wet weather gear and a full face helmet (You don't want a rock hitting you in the face at 100kms / hr!!!). I'm super pumped...

Its getting close now! After over a year of planning with fellow riders @AndrewBlanda and @RazChorev, the adventure that is Riding4aCause is about to hit the road. And I'm excited!!!
